Case Study Report

Location: Michigan

Application Type: Manufacturing Plant

Design: Four direct fired vertical heaters were installed to provide heating and ventilation for the facility. Each unit is capable of providing 45,000 CFM to the space.

Advantages:

  1. Nearly 100% efficient direct fired burners economically provide heating for the space
  2. Recirculation technology eliminates stratification and reduces fuel consumption while continuously meeting ASHRAE 62.1 fresh air requirements
  3. Vertical units allow for minimal ducting without consuming interior floor space
  4. Automatic static pressure control prevents drafts due to infiltration
  5. Capable of modulating to 100% outside air to provide maximum ventilation during periods of excessive emissions
  6. Utilizes diffusers for effective air distribution throughout the facility
  7. Recirculating units contribute to LEED certification
