Case Study Report

Location: Minnesota

Design: Two 18,000 CFM Total Heat System units were installed to economically provide warehouse heating and ventilation.

  1. Nearly 100% efficient direct fired burners reduce fuel costs
  2. Recirculation prevents stratification; thereby lowering energy demands
  3. Space heating control maintains comfortable working conditions in both office and warehouse
  4. Space pressurization prevents cold drafts and infiltration
  5. Return air modulation automatically adjusts amount of recirculation to lower fuel costs
  6. Summer mode can be used to provide cheap environmental cooling
  7. Unit orientation counteracts infiltration from open dock doors
